Biography

Attorney Richard N. Blevins, Jr. brings extensive legal expertise to Blevins & Hong, P.C. as the firm’s senior litigation attorney. With a track record of successfully managing numerous personal injury claims, he has consistently excelled in Georgia’s legal arena. Additionally, he offers substantial experience in criminal law and plays an active role in the firm’s criminal division.

Prior to his role at the firm, Attorney Richard Blevins served as a Cobb County Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General. Complementing his legal career, he shares his knowledge as a part-time criminal justice instructor at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia. His dedication to law enforcement is evident, having graduated as the third-ranking cadet at the DeKalb County Police Academy and earning an intermediate certification from Georgia’s Peace Officer Standards & Training Council.

Attorney Richard Blevins’ diverse background includes roles as a former Detective with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and a former Police Officer with the Milledgeville Police Department and the DeKalb County Police Department. Furthermore, he proudly served in the United States Army, demonstrating his commitment to both his country and the field of law.
